Chasewood Learning Academies
The Chasewood Learning Academies are multi-level programs where children are placed based on skill and experience. Students can move up a level each time they take the class to take on more advanced concepts.
Chasewood Learning offers Robotics instruction options based on age level and ability with LEGO WeDo Robotics, and LEGO Mindstorms EV3 Robotics. Classes can include all age levels with each student working on the curriculum geared towards their abilities.
Chasewood Learning offers Programming instruction options based on age level and ability in Scratch and Python.
Mechanical Engineering Academy
The Chasewood Mechanical Engineering Academy is a comprehensive program where children learn and build projects based on mechanical engineering concepts. Models such as a powered cars, cranes, and windmills are examples of engaging and dynamic activities based on the LEGO® Education Simple & Powered Machines engineering curriculum.
Electrical Engineering Academy
The Chasewood Electrical Engineering Academy is a comprehensive program where students explore electrical circuits and even create their own projects. Chasewood offers Electrical Engineering academies in micro:bit and Arduino.
The Minecraft Engineering Academy allows children to learn Civil Engineering and City Planning principles while they are in a Minecraft world. Students work as civil engineers and city planners to design and create a structured city that includes roads, bridges, and city zones containing housing, stores, libraries, schools and more.
